Renda Cribbins, Trustee
We are happy to introduce our new trustee for the Polka Booster Club of America – Renda Cribbins. She has been appointed by Mindi to finish the term that was opened with the passing of Bob Malecki. You can find Renda in front of the bandstand taking Facebook video clips of bands and dancers. Renda is going to be a great asset to our club and welcomed addition as a trustee. When you see Renda, please say “hi” and thank her for her service to keeping polka music and our club alive. -Shirley
I was born in Saginaw, Michigan and grew up in the little city of Auburn. My love for Polka music began as a teenager when my friends starting taking me to polka dances. In 1982 I married a Canadian polka musician and moved to Ontario, Canada, where I lived for 39 years. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. After my divorce, I started dating Dale Cribbins who I have known since I was 12 years old! We dated for 10 years and in 2021 I moved back to Michigan and we were married. We now reside in Manistee, Michigan. We enjoy traveling to many of the polka festivals.”
